Delete your account
You can delete your PhaseFood account and the data linked to it at any time. There are two ways to do this.
Delete from within the app
The quickest way is directly in PhaseFood:
- Open PhaseFood and go to your Profile.
- Scroll to the bottom and select Delete account.
- Confirm when prompted.
Your account and its associated data are removed straight away.
If you cannot access the app
If you are unable to sign in, or no longer have the app installed, email us from the address linked to your account and ask us to delete it:
We will confirm and complete your request within 30 days.
What gets deleted
When you delete your account, the following is permanently removed and cannot be recovered:
- Your account and sign-in details
- Your profile and preferences
- Saved recipes, shopping lists, and condiments
- Wellbeing and symptom logs
- Recipe history and feedback
What we keep, and why
We retain a limited set of records only where the law requires it. This includes transaction and billing records held by our payment providers (Stripe, Apple, and Google) for tax and accounting purposes. These are kept only for the period required by law and are not used for anything else.
